What does LOGEX do in the field of patient engagement?

Mission of LOGEX: We turn data into better healthcare.

LOGEX supports healthcare providers in tracking and understanding patients’ disease burden over time — before, during, and after treatment — by providing digital tools that boost patient engagement and enable data-driven care.

By fostering a stronger connection between patients and their care, we enable healthcare professionals to report, compare, and model outcomes more effectively. This not only improves clinical insights but also deepens our understanding of what treatments truly work best for each individual.

At the same time, we aim to increase patient autonomy by providing tools that allow patients to actively monitor and participate in their care journey — both from home and within the hospital setting.

What does that look like?

Our OutPatient solution is designed to collect comprehensive health data throughout a patient’s care journey, which can improve both the patient experience and the quality of care they receive. Patients can use the app to log patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and integrate wearable data from their own device. This continuous flow of information allows healthcare providers to gain real-time insights into how patients are feeling, enabling them to make more informed, data-driven decisions.

Our InPatient solution not only empowers patients but also makes healthcare professionals’ work more efficiently. By providing patients with a bedside device that displays their daily schedule, they can independently prepare for treatments and doctor visits, which has the potential of reducing  the need for staff intervention. Continuous digital feedback and PROM data ensure that healthcare providers have up-to-date information, allowing them to make informed decisions more quickly and reducing time spent on manual updates or follow-ups.

How is it for you to work in this field?

With my biomedical background, I’ve had the opportunity to work in hospitals and see firsthand how busy healthcare providers are. Technology offers a great solution to ease their workload, but we need to get it right to ensure it doesn’t add to their administrative burden. At the same time, patients are increasingly embracing digital tools to manage their care, and it's exciting to see how these tools can make a real difference – as long as we keep them simple and accessible.

What truly drives me is creating meaningful products that make a real difference in healthcare. I enjoy engaging with healthcare providers and patients to understand their needs. This helps us continually improve our products, ensuring they effectively solve real problems and ultimately make a positive impact on healthcare.
